My Encounter: In a vision, I was standing with Jesus on the edge of a very calm body of water. There was so much stillness and peace. In the distance, I could see the Glory of The Lord covering the earth, coming towards us. I felt Jesus grab my hand, and say "stay with me". It reminded me of when he asked his disciples to stay awake in prayer with him in the garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:40-41). I was overcome by the gentle humility of Jesus, the weight and power of the Glory coming, and a deep hunger to stay close to him.
